My name is Nerea Lopez, and I've loved finding apartments for friends and family for many years. In the beginning, I was totally lost, not knowing the prices and what to watch out for. Even as a German, it took me many years to fully understand the rental mark and its ways. Also, I dealt with every bureaucratic issue you can imagine.

7 years ago, I decided that I wanted to find apartments for a living. I founded the company "Homesearch Berlin" (→ you can check it out on LinkedIn), to help companies to find apartments for their international employees.

Since then, my team and I havfound more than 1500 APARTMENTS for people from all over the world. I have built a large network with brokers and facility managements and really understood what matters to them. So I developed my own system to make finding a home for internationals as smooth and stress-free as it can be.

Can't I learn all of this on YouTube?

On YouTube, you can discover some truly great videos. However, many are superficial and won't significantly aid you in taking action. They are mostly done by expats that show you how they found their own apartment. Which is fine, but it doesn't compare to the experience of someone who has been finding homes as their job for many years.

You would also spend considerable time searching for these videos, which vary widely in quality. By enrolling in the Homefinder Course, you will have the chance to ask me your individual questions during weekly Q&A calls and in our private group.

Do I need to be in Germany before starting?

No this course is also a great preparation if you just found a job in Germany but are still living in your home country.

Should I invest in Homefinder Course before investing in a relocation agency?

It really depends on what your aim is. A relocation agency can handle the whole process for you, which is quite convenient. However, the service is quite cost-intensive (usually +2k) and they might just book an expensive hotel for you because it's much easier for them. If you are willing to put just a little effort into this by yourself, you can save a lot of money and be just as fast. You will also be prepared much better to get settled in Germany.

What language will the course be in?

The course and it's learning material will be completely in English.
